Whew! That one whistled with steam. I think that Richard is absolutely
wrong about "following the guidelines." Besides, I think that Eric's
guidelines are grey and fuzzy enough to allow soap-box posts, just like
the one Richard made! What's so hard about passing up the posts whose
subject lines don't interest you, anyway?

Probably the opposite is true, yet I would never use an absolute like
"every" (irony intended).
