Using Domino to Publish Documentation on Internet

I'm documenting an Internet commerce product and all documentation will be in
HTML. I've figured out a decent system that I'll use. However, I've been asked
to consider putting all the documentation in Notes and publishing it as web
documents using Domino.

This strikes me as something that is more "cool" than actually useful, since
the documentation won't contain any complex forms and will simply be the usual
text, tables and illustrations. However, I'm willing (slightly grudgingly, I
admit)  to consider it. I have a few questions, naturally:

A) Has anyone else done this?

B) Is this going to be better than my current system, which is to
- just compose in Word, using styles that correspond to HTML styles
- which I convert very easily to HTML using FrontPage or HTML Transit?
- (I can use Transit to automatically create a linked TOC for the whole manual
and for each chapter, too, though actually purchasing a copy rather than using
an evaluation copy would be $500.)

The conversion process for a 100-page manual strikes me as maybe a half hour,
including a little tweaking afterwards.

C) Does Domino give me a nice, tangible .HTM file that I can pick up and take
with me, or does it just publish invisibly without creating an .HTM file and
will that cause problems?

D) Can I edit the Internet-published output from Domino in HTML if I want to
tweak it?
