<Interleaf has by far the best document management package out there, as far as
<I've been able to tell. When things are properly set up, multi-version
<multi-document management is no more painful than you'd expect -- maybe less
<so. There's no Mac version, though.
<Most users are on workstations, though the Windows NT/Win95 version is a
<complete implementation.
<FrameMaker has clumsy versions of some of the same features, but I don't think
<there's any comparison.
<Interleaf is a high-end package wich requires training or serious effort to
<master, bu tit's worth it.
I'll definitely second that.
I still find some people who curse Interleaf, but I
suspect it's due to trying to run the s/w with a
mis-matched workstation or lack of a trained administrator.
...not that I haven't cursed it a few times myself,
but that's another story.
Basically, I give it a thumbs up!
