Microware Systems Corporation currently has
two openings for technical writers in the New Media
Division in Des Moines, Iowa. The New Media
division develops low-level authoring systems
for interactive TV, digital broadcast satellite,
and imbedded internet products. Writers develop
programming reference manuals, and user manuals,
help files, and on-line reference manuals. Writers
may also have occasion to write white papers and
product data sheets.
Position requires BA/BS degree or equivalent
experience, and familiarity with C/C++ programming.
Experience developing help files and on-line
documentation (Acrobat) is a definate plus.
Experience with LAN/WAN desired.
Depending on applicant's experience, the positions may
be Technical Writer or Senior Technical Writer.
