SunGard Capital Markets Inc., an international leader in financial
derivatives trading and risk management software, seeks a technical
writing intern/co-op to work at its Center City Philadelphia location.
This is a full-time paid position (hourly rate), which will last at
least six months. We are looking to fill this position as soon as
possible.

The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal
communication skills and familiarity with at least one desktop
publishing software package (FrameMaker preferred). Previous technical
writing experience is not necessary, but you must be a fast learner
who can work independently and as part of a documentation team.
Flexibility and a high degree of professionalism are also required
since you will frequently have to work on several different projects
at once.

The successful candidate must be able to interact with software
developers and product analysts to write and update various types of
end-user documentation including: user's guides, reference manuals,
support manuals, installation guides, system overview documents and
on-line help. You will also be responsible for the distribution of new
and existing documentation to global support offices.

Obviously, the position demands a reasonably high level of computer
literacy. Experience with any of the following is not required, but is
a definite plus: FrameMaker 5, RoboHELP 95, Corel Draw 5/6 (screen
capture utilities), HTML, PRISM, WindowsNT, SQL. Likewise, a financial
background is not required, but is an asset.

Recent college graduates and graduate school students are more than
welcome to apply. Mail, fax or e-mail your resume with cover letter
to:
