Moving online requires that materials be redesigned, restructured and
rewritten. This two-day workshop goes beyond the basics of designing online
documentation and looks at issues of design, management and tools.

* Selecting software tools
Creating an evaluation checklist. Evaluating software tools. The pros and
cons of key products.

* Distribution
CD-ROM, Internet, Intranet...
* Managing your project
* Evaluating the document
* Who should attend
Those responsible for putting information online (moving from existing to
online or creating from scratch). Individuals responsible for determining
the best ways of creating, managing and distributing online materials.

Ann Rockley, President of A. Rockley Consulting Associates, has an
international reputation in the field of online documentation. She has 15
years experience developing manuals and online documentation.

Fees
STC members $190 Canadian (about $150 U.S.)
Non-members $240 Canadian (about $180 U.S.)
Students $95 Canadian (about $70 U.S.)
