Bob, I try to do something very different from my work to clear my mind. For me, I prefer something physical, like going on a run (the worse I feel, the harder I run) or going fly-fishing for an hour. There's nothing like returning from lunch to face a project after having gotten in a hard run or battled a few trout on a local river.

If time doesn't permit this, sometimes I'll take a brief surfing excursion to a job page or two and salve my feelings by looking at jobs I could apply for where they would appreciate me more ;-). After a little of this, I'm ready to face reality!
