TECHNICAL WRITER
CyberSafe Corporation is looking for candidates who are exceptional in
their technical writing skills and their commitment to build documentation
materials for our outstanding security networking product line.
Qualifications
Have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in technical writing;
graduate study a plus
Have demonstrated understanding of technology, including internet
networking technologies, UNIX workstations and networking, Windows, and PC
networking, and the client/server computing model.
Able to gather technically difficult information and make it
understandable to the intended audience; able to develop an understanding
of technical projects quickly and accurately, and to communicate the
learning through printed or online material
Have excellent writing skills, with thorough understanding of audience,
document organization, rhetoric, and impeccable grammar
Understand team-building dynamics and be interested in participating in a
team environment
Have experience with FrameMaker and Word for Windows; online help a plus
Tasks
Work with a cross-functional team developing CyberSafe products. As a team
member, you will contribute to all phases of the project: including
product conception and design, prototyping, usability analysis, development
, and product packaging and distribution. Specifically, you will identify
documentation requirements, write outlines, write materials, incorporate
diagrams, work through any review and test cycles, and prepare materials
for final distribution (either online or print).
Contribute to building standards and styles for the Communications
Department's evolving plans for successful documentation ? both printed and
online.
Be a part of and contribute to CyberSafe's innovative environment.
Assist as needed in other writing opportunities, leveraging your technical
knowledge to the broader goal of achieving market success.
