It's drastic, but a boot manager would solve your problem. I use
the one that comes with OS/2, but there's at least one commercial
and several shareware ones for all PC operating systems.

I run Internet Explorer on the Win95 side, and Netscape for OS/2 and
Web Explorer on the OS/2 side. No problems--although it may help that
Win95 can't read the OS/2 partition.
