"One year after you left her company" would be quite a harsh clause. When I
started self-employed I signed an agreement about "18 months after the last
job for that client ended".

The first one would make it very difficult for you to get free of that agency
by possibly blocking you from any local customer. The second clause has a
special chance: If the customer is quite satisfied with your work, but
strongly dislikes your employer. I know what I am talking about...
