I third the request but not the tone! Even if salaries are not posted,
I still want jobs posted. I like to know what jobs are out there, what
areas in the country are hiring and what skills are in vogue.

I second Dianne's request!
I started by first job (1990) as a tech. writer, while working on my MA in
technical communications, for 25K - basically what the employer offered. I had
no idea what the market was supporting.

Hey, how about a salary range? Since this is a list for sharing information
and keeping up to date on my trade, I would like the information presented!
How else can I compare and analyze salaries to job
requirements/responsibilities? Employers want to know my life history and
qualifications. I would like to know how well you compensate your
employees for "putting in the hours it takes to get the job done."
Otherwise, IMHO, don't post the job!
