Here's another good source of contract and staff job listings for technical
communicators: for those of you in the San Francisco Bay Area, the STC has a
mailing list that distributes local-area leads on a near-daily basis. Anyone
can subscribe or post job openings; there is no charge to job seekers or
employers.

To subscribe, send e-mail to majordomo -at- stc -dot- org -dot- Leave the subject line blank
and insert SUBSCRIBE STCJOBSBA-L <your e-mail address> as the first line of
your e-mail message. Be sure to use the e-mail account from which you wish
to be subscribed, or you will get an approval message and your subscription
will be delayed until the listowner has time to approve your request.

To receive information on how to post an opening, send e-mail to
majordomo -at- stc -dot- org -dot- Leave the subject line blank and insert INFO STCJOBSBA-L
as the first line of your e-mail message. You can do this from any e-mail
account, since you need not be subscribed to receive the information file.
