I agree with Pete Kloppenburg and Chris Bartholomew's statements--
A/W is out on the edge as far as "cool stuff" and am positive that the
work would be borderline overwhelming. However, how many places
can you find that kind of stimulation?!
my husband was a grad student in visualiation/animation and several
of his PhD peers were recruited heavily by Alias/Wavefront--big $$,
long hours, but the chance of a lifetime for the right technical, motivated
person...
