Unpaid overtime/paid overtime (Go contracting)

Subject: Unpaid overtime/paid overtime (Go contracting)

Esteemed Colleagues:

The habitual practice of having employees work
unpaid overtime is why contracting is so
attractive. When I've given presentations at
STC meetings concerning employment, I urge
people to "do the arithmetic" when it comes to
calculating compensation. How much are those
so-called benefits really worth?

Cheers.
