Technical Writers Wanted
The Baan Company is looking for a Technical Writers to develop product
documentation for the BAAN ERP software. The work will focus on
developing (end) user documentation. The writers will create both online
documentation and reference material. Concurrent documenting of the
software also means describing functionality through interviews with
developers, analyzing functional designs, and using the product.
Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrable experience in
UNIX, SGML, HTML, Windows NT/95, and with an understanding of ERP
(software), GUI, client/server interfaces, graphical interfaces, user
support, and C++.
A minimum of two years of online authoring experience required.
Additional requirements include: a degree in Technical Writing or
equivalent work experience. three years of writing experience in a
corporate setting. Talent for writing concise, clear text and strong
communication skills.
