Unless you're the president of a Fortune 500 company, a one page resume
is unlikely to convince anyone to hired you. It's not a bad idea to give
a one page synopsis, however, if your resume is long.
But the proper length for a resume is very idiosyncratic. When I've used
a short version, I've been told that I should have more detail; when
I've used a long one, I've been told to cut it. I've taken to carrying
two resumes, and asking which the interviewer prefers. Otherwise, it's a
no-win situation.
