EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITH DATACAD LLC:

DATACAD LLC, an architectural software developement company located in
Avon, CT, is looking for an Intermediate Technical Writer. This is a
full-time, salaried, permanent position.

As a member of DATACAD LLC, you would be expected to perform a wide
variety of duties. You will produce both print and electronic user
manuals, including direct integration of online context-sensitive help
systems. You must demonstrate the ability to work with design
engineers, product managers, and customer support personnel for
development and clarification of technical concepts into user manuals.
You will need strong project management abilities to plan, estimate,
and track projects, as well as meeting all product development
schedules and working on many projects simultaneously. This position
includes the opportunity to write and format the company's World Wide
Web site. You must be self-motivated, organized, reliable, and
efficient.

REQUIREMENTS:

· BA or equivalent experience
· At least one year of technical writing experience
· Excellent writing skills, editing skills, and command of
grammar, spelling, and syntax rules
· Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience with writing and editing online and printed documentation
· Experience in Windows, RoboHelp and Microsoft Word (HTML experience
a plus)
