Me, too. One of my professions is that of a manager. I think that
expecting writers to do their own proofreading is a truly asinine
management requirement. Self-proofing is ineffective, slow, and
stressful on the writers. Any manager who is halfway competent can
come up with an alternative that increases both production and quality,
while reducing stress.
