Long dialog box names

Subject: Long dialog box names

Can anyone point me toward some study that may strengthen my argument with
programmers that their dialog box names are too long? We have some real
doozies, such as the "Add/Edit Visit Type Care Level Cross Reference dialog
box." Geez, I'm writing the documentation for it, and I can't tell what the
dialog box is for by its title--I have to keep looking at what I already
wrote!!

TIA,
