Hello All,

I'm looking for people who use (or have used) a computer dictation tool to
write papers. As part of a technical writing class, I am writing a paper
on automatic speech recognition and its implications for technical
writing; notes from the field would make excellent additions to my report.

If you have worked with a dictation tool and you'd like to help out,
please answer the following questions:

What dictation tool did you use?

Are you using it now? If not, when did you use it?

What did you like best about the tool?

What did you like least about the tool?

Do you feel dictation helped you in your writing?

Do you feel dictation changed your writing style or effectiveness?

Thanks for any help you can give. I'll post a summary of responses to the
list, in case anyone else is interested.

Yours truly,

Eric Willard SNOE
