Sr. Technical Writer
Description and Requirements:
Must have a BS/BA in Technical Writing, Computer Science, English,or
Journalism and 5+ years of experience documenting complex software products
in a number of environments (UNIX and/or Windows/NT). Experience with
client/server database technology, RDBMs, such as DB2, Oracle, Informix, and
Sybase ideal. Must be able to develop complex documentation to a highly
educated audience from inception and do it within the time period allocated.
Working knowledge of at least two of the following tools: FrameMaker,
RoboHelp, SQL, or C++. Proven ability to work with various product
developers and management in a team environment.
Will develop documentation plans and user documentation for new and existing
database utilities products. Will create both hard copy and online
documentation using FrameMaker, RoboHelp, MSWord, PaintShop Pro, and other
writing tools on an aggressive time scale to the marketplace.
