Kind of a nit-picky question...
I'm editing a manual. A typical warning looks this way:
<bold>WARNING:<bold> Do not do such and such a thing...yatta yatta yatta. This may result in blah, blah.
Here's the question...is the first word after the heading capitalized? I know that after a colon, it would not usually be capitalized, but I'm treating the "WARNING" (or CAUTION, or NOTE) primarily as a call-out to draw attention to the information following. Putting the "WARNING" on a separate line is not an option because of space constraints.
Just looking for some opinions, advice, etc.
