Topic: Using Java and HTML for Online Documentation
Presenter: Ben Weisner, Weisner Associates Inc.

Ben Weisner will give an overview of how current and future Java
technologies can be used, along with HTML, to deliver cross-platform,
browser-independent online documentation. Ben will demonstrate several Java
applets currently available for browsing, searching, and printing online
information. Attendees should have a basic understanding of HTML and Web
technologies to get the full benefit of the presentation.

Ben Weisner is president of Weisner Associates, a software consulting and
development company offering a range of services relating to electronic
information delivery, including certified training for Windows Help and
HTML authoring, Web publishing, and help system development. WAI also
markets and develops software products, including the Help Author's
Resource Kit(tm), a CD-ROM based set of tools and information for Help and
HTML authors.

There will be a program fee of $5.00 to offset the cost of the meeting
facility and presentation equipment.

The meeting will be held at the Earle Brown Continuing Education Center,
1890 Buford Avenue, on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.
