I'm surprised, but I did not receive many suggestions from the TECHWR-L.
So, after perusing many pages of font descriptions I am taking a good look
at a Bitstream font called "Letter Gothic 12 Pitch". This is a PostScript
type 1 monospaced font that IMHO provides a much better representation than
Courier, and takes up a lot less horizontal space. It is included with
CorelDRAW 6.0 and is available for both Mac and PC in Regular, Italic,
Bold, and Bold Italic.
