Hello:
I just had a curious thought regarding STC Newsletters and TECHWRL while
writing my last post:

Does the quality of this listserv reduce the impact of local STC
newsletters?

I was considering expanding my previous post today about "Education and
Productivity" into a newsletter article, but I wonder if its impact will
be deadened because it has already been presented in TECHWRL?

I suppose that "localization" of the newsletter is its key strength,
dealing with local issues and events. But when it comes to technical
writing issues and topics in general, I am much more inclined to post to
this group rather than write an article for the newsletter.

Its unfortunate, because I am quite fond of newsletters, but in practice
I seem to be favoring the internet. Hmm.
