Maybe about four years ago, Bonni Graham and I did the same
metaphore search for an end-user database app. Here are some
that we came up with for database/record/field
forest/tree/leaf -- already used by Forest & Trees
if they're still in business
cookie jar/cookie/choc chip
then the ideas got more bizzar, so I won't mention them here! ;-)
and there was one suggested by a techwr-l listmember -- I don't
remember who...
