Ditto...especially since the author of The Mac is Not a Typewriter is
Robin Williams, who I mentioned previously is a *strong* advocate of
only one space after a period in typeset work. Sure wish I had the

I use PageMaker, Word, and related other apps on the mac (like SimpleText
and BBEdit) on the mac and I've never experienced any such behavior.
