We'll be producing anywhere from six to ten books for our next product release. These books will be available in hard copy format only if the customer wants them. We'll distribute them electronically.
It seems to me that TOC at a Glance would be perfect to serve as the top level into all of the books. Kind of a table of contents for all of the collection. Of course, in a regular table of contents you'd have three or four or however many levels of headings. But for the TOC at a glance you would only include 2.
It may even be worth (for the electronic version) having them link to that level in the regular toc, rather than into the book itself.

I think that if you design your Toc properly, you don't need two..
Instead of using two, I'd include the chapter titles in a
large font size. Then, those who wanted only a quick over-view
coud scan the complete ToC and have it..

Your bowels have got colitis,
You've galloping bollicitis
And you're thinking it's time you died,
If you're been a man of action,
while you're lying there in traction,
You may gain some satisfaction
Thinking, 'Jesus, at least I tried!'"
