Fonting style choice is dependent upon:

1. The Tech Writer's personal preference
2. The Customer paying for the final product.
3. The End User.

The customer is paying for it do what they want.
When given a "choice" go w/ Sans Seriff for your
user's sake.

See the metanalyses on this not just one
thesis or dissertation. I did.
