Our fearless leader and Standards Writer decress:

1. All tables are full page width and every column is the same width.
Yeah, even if one column has two characters and the others have 10.

2. 3/4 point line around the outside of the table.

3. 3/4 pt. rules within the table.

4. 1-1/2 pt. rule surrounding the heading (top) row.

Right. And figure numbers in chapter 1 go from Figure 1-1 to Figure
1-23 and start chapter 2 with Figure 2-24 to Figure 2-37~ and start
chapter 3 with Figure 3-38, etc.

I stopped grousing about company standards when I took on a new house
payment for the first time in 20 years.
