End of Manual

Hello All,

I'm a young, lone, tech writer with a simple question that I'd like some opinions on.

I'm finishing up work on a 144 page software manual. The software license agreements for the product are printed at the back of the manual.  My question is:  What should be at the very end of the book, the License Agreements, or the Index?  One side of my brain says the License Agreements because they are somewhat extraneous to the rest of the manual.  The other side of my brain says, Nonsense, the index should always be last. Any opinions?
