My company uses HDK. I thought that it was very interesting that one of
our Techwriters went to the STC conference and didn't hear it mentioned.
As stated, it has its quirks and some days has a tendency to crash
frequently but I don't know if that is a problem with HDK or with our
network. Just save your work often (we have to turn off the AutoSave
feature in Word).
