Subject:Punctuation in Captions From:Tom Phillips <tphillips -at- CCMGATE -dot- MBSBOOKS -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 21 Aug 1997 13:51:18 CST
Hi All--
I am uncertain as to the proper punctuation guidelines for a
photo/screen shot caption. Specifically, should there be a period (or
other appropriate punctuation) at the end of a caption? I have been
going without, but am uncertain as to whether or not that's the proper
way to do it. I couldn't find anything in the guidelines I have, but
they are just general grammar guidelines and do not specifically cover
technical communications. Please send answers directly to me as I get
the list as a digest.
Many Thanks In Advance,
Tom Phillips
