Subject:Re: Anthropomorphism (kind of) From:Kevin Smith <ksmith -at- OODB -dot- SYSCOM -dot- COM -dot- TW> Date:Fri, 22 Aug 1997 14:00:41 +0800
Hey, what's an adjective to describe the extent to which a UI duplicates
real physical operations (documents placed into files then files into
folders; cut and paste, etc.)?
I have always used, for lack of a better term, "mondopomorphic", a word
I made up when drunk. Everybody I work with knows what it means, but I
would never use it in anything other than verbal communication.
Anybody know any "real" term for this quality?
