Subject:Re[2]: Is it Barcode or bar code From:Carl Rudorf <carl -dot- rudorf -at- SOKKIATECH -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 3 Sep 1997 13:59:00 -0700
At my previous employer, barcode scanning was an integral part of software
development (retail management systems, point-of-sale (POS), and so on). Since
resources always seemed to conflict, I opted for "barcode". I never heard any
complaints, qualms or concerns about this usage. (Tom? I know you're out there.
Is still okay?)
I'd imagine anybody on the list writing for Symbol or Telxon would have a
definite view about this.
