I've been adding the registered trademark symbol to our brand-name on some of our packaging. In my experience, I've usually seen/placed the "circle-R" symbol in superscript after the brand-name. The new legal advisor at our parent company is sub-scripting the "circle-R" after the brand-name; this is also how it's done on our parent company's product literature. I can't find a reference to which is correct (or if both are acceptable). Can anyone help me out here?
