A silk-screened label will not unbalance the disc significantly. An
off-center paper sticker, with substantially more mass, can.

A wheel is firmly bolted to a car as well, but if the wheel/tire set
isn't balanced, you can get speed shakes, no? Same thing will happen
with an off-balance CD at a high enough speed.
