Agreed. But it's the 'without warning' part that made me leary.

I don't want to belabor this point though. One person told me this and I 've
never contacted Geocities to verify.

They're right in Santa Monica, by the way. I actually met one of the owners
at an open studio (the artist - also a superb Flamenco guitarist - does a lot
of their graphics.)
