Suzy...you have heard of the "Tarzan Rule" of dataprocessing, right?

"Never let go of one vine until you have a solid hold of the next"

I understand that this doesn't help you now and I hope you've tamed the beast, but maybe others will learn from your experience. Never upgarde a version of critical software no matter how small the increment in the middle of a project with a deadline like yours. Wait untill you've met your existing deadlines and can set the next deadlines to accomodate things that you cannot foresee.

It's the things you don't know that you have to accomodate.

I upgraded to Word 97 (and no, they won't let me get Framemaker) last week in
the middle of working on a number of urgent docs. So far I have had to battle ...
