Colleagues,

Two thoughts.

First, as others have said, $10/h is not to be sneezed at, especially if
this is for an upper-level undergraduate. Many of these positions in the
industry don't pay a dime--just class credit--when successful completion of
an internship is required for graduation. Situations vary across the
country. YMMV, as they say.

Second, in the same digest with this dialog on internships was Melissa
Alton's post concerning a software company that offered her $10/h for *real*
long-term contract work.

Go figure.
