Entitled? I'm not so sure about that. If you go around trying to get
access to what everyone makes, you're likely to get your coworkers and
management equally annoyed. Maybe that's right and maybe it's not, but
it is so.

I prefer to keep my salary under wraps. I can't complain about what I
make, and I don't want it made public for the sole purpose of giving
others negotiating leverage. (And I don't need others' salaries to give
me leverage.) Maybe that makes me a stooge for management, but I'm a
happy stooge and there's value in that.
