It's best to ask the company or agency for their preferred format. Ask if
they're going to send around your resume as is, or if it will be scanned
into their database. If it will be scanned, ask for specific instructions
and tips regarding fonts, font size, etc.
I usually send a copy as a WORD attachment and also as plain ASCII. If you
have a website or FTP space, having a copy available in PDF format is also a
good idea.
