I subscribe to Jakob Nielsen's email updates about his usability

The information and links in his Alertbox for June 28 may be relevant to
your question, if you are thinking of writing online documentation for
the online apps.

Speaking strictly for myself, not for HarperCollins.
Is anyone out there aware of a style manual for writing about web-based
applications? It would be along the lines of the MS Style Manual for
Technical Publications (is that the correct title?), but would not be
for
windows-based apps.
Thanks in advance.
