Amy,

Have you tried to produce the PDF the "classical" way by creating a PS file
and then send it to the Distiller? Does it print to paper?

Also, is there an EPS placed on that particular page? What happens when you
take out that EPS?

Another possibility could be that you are short on disk space on the system
partition.

As it has been said, the showpage command is a very important PostScript
command. It has nothing at all to do directly with Frame.
