I agree. Visio is really the tool for the job, and will probably lessen your
frustration level vs. trying to use another tool not suited for the task.

Import into Frame is a problem. We use .gif files for graphics because we
export everything to HTML. The version of Visio I have doesn't export to
.gif at all, and I understand the current version doesn't do it well. What
I've done is to turn off all the gridlines and markers and take a screenshot
of the flow chart as a .gif. Kludgy, yes, but the graphics look nice both in
print and in HTML.
