I'm currently working on both printed and online help for an application
written entirely in Java. We're looking into changing our online help to a
non WinHelp system in the next version of the product, and I'm looking for
suggestions as to how to proceed. To create my documentation, I use
Doc-To-Help because I need to create both the online help and print from
the same source. I know that Doc-To-Help 4.0 supports both Microsoft HTML
Help and JavaHelp (early access release), but I don't know the pros and
cons of these two, especially since the developers have expressed that they
don't want to use the ActiveX version of HTML Help, and I understand the
Java applet is crippled. Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
