"Tip of the month" for January 1999 has just been uploaded to "The
User Friendly Manuals' Website" (see URL below). The topic is
"Current trends in technical communication", with the following
subheadings:
- Preferred software for technical writers.
- HTML help is on its way.
- Machine translation.
- Possibilities with colour laser printers and photocopiers.
- Print on demand = "In-line" manual production.
- Increased interest in interactive multimedia manuals.
- Increasing printshop accept of electronic file transfer.

Please note, that the old URL = Internet address (the one with
"dknet.dk/") was permanently closed on 31 December 1998.

This means, that if you still haven't changed your bookmark to
http://www.prc.dk/user-friendly-manuals/ it is time to do it now !
