As Geoff Hart said it's best left to lawyers but there is a move to remove
some of the legalese. For Kristen (and others who may be interested) there
is a worldwide (but British based) group of lawyers and interested lay
people with the aim of promoting the use of good clear language by the
legal profession. The chairman gave an excellent talk at the ISTC
conference a couple of years ago. Can be contacted via web page of law
firm where the chairman work.

Name was Mark Adler. Email : adler -at- adler -dot- demon -dot- co -dot- uk
Web address: www.adler.demon.co.uk

I've checked the web page and it is still up and running. May be able to
put you in touch with group(s) in the US who can help.
