Here are a few of our current opportunities:

Programmer Writer - Plan and write developer-oriented and solutions-oriented
documentation for ActiveX Data Objects. May extend to similar duties for OLE
DB and ODBC material. This includes working with managers to determine
appropriate content; working with editors and other User Education staff to
provide high-quality documentation to an agreed schedule; and ensuring all
material is tested and properly reviewed. Candidates must have proven
experience creating programs using data access technologies, specifically
DAO or ADO. Professional experience with one or more programming languages,
good oral and written communication skills, good organizational ability,
knowledge of database fundamentals. Experience with database interfaces such
as OLE DB and ODBC. BA/BS in Computer Science is preferred.

Programmer Writer - Responsibilities include planning, writing,
implementing, and maintaining online developer-oriented and
solutions-oriented documentation for the OLE DB and Open Database
Connectivity (ODBC) components. This includes documenting and maintaining
the OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) reference, maintaining the ODBC
reference, and helping with the OLE DB reference material. Qualifications
include 3-5 years experience writing documentation for programmers,
including writing and analyzing sample code in C++; excellent oral and
written communication skills; reliable organizational ability; proven
problem-solving skills; demonstrated teamwork skills; and a strong interest
in software and in keeping up to date in leading-edge computer technology.
Knowledge of database fundamentals and OLE/COM, and web application
development required. Must be able to work extensively at a keyboard, to
meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and to handle multiple
assignments/projects. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
experience preferred.

Programmer Writer - Write SDK's on the setup of future versions of server
applications. The audience is programmers. Previous experience with server
setup technologies in SQL Server, Exchange or IIS required. BA/BS in
Computer Science is preferred.

Programmer Writer - Write SDK's for our client's 32-bit platform. The ideal
candidate will have Windows programming (C++), database and documentation
experience. Hands on COM experience would be helpful. BA/BS in Computer
Science is preferred.

Technical Writer - Review, revise, and write text that appears in the user
interface of our client's products. The writer will provide clear, concise,
accurate UI text that enhances product usability and is consistent with our
client's writing standard. Must have 3-5 years writing experience, good
communication and organizational skills and UI design. MCSE or MCP
certification is required. A BA/BS degree in English or Technical
Communications is preferred.

Technical Writer - Help writer needed for a graphical UI. The help system is
context-sensitive and describes the interface. A minimum of 2 years writing
help files is required. WinHelp is preferred. Must have excellent writing,
analytical and problem solving skills.
