I'm an undergraduate looking into grad school options right now. I've
always liked the natural sciences and would love to do something in that
realm, but

(1)I chose English over Biology. My teachers all say that the best way
in is to major in the sciences and minor in English/Journalism. But all
of us are seniors, and it's a little late for that. Is there a way to
compensate for my ignorance of chemistry, genetics, etcetera---is it
worthwhile to take prerequisites for grad school in the sciences for the
sake of writing in the sciences?

(2)aside from pharmaceutical companies, I really don't know what's
regularly available in science communication. Do you?

Thank you.
